For many years, there's been a small part of me that has resented my 3 kids for helping to do their part in the destruction of my waistline.
I know that this makes me sound completely awful, and I feel terrible about it, but I have to tell you that I absolutely love and adore my kids more than anything in the entire universe....but the flab that had stuck around my middle section remained there for almost THREE FULL DECADES after my youngest child was born!
I had spent countless hours at the gym, despite absolutely hating every minute of it! I cut out all of the foods I enjoyed and I tried every weigh-loss program imaginable, yet I still couldn't shed the extra pounds.
Adding to the stress of work, family responsibilities, and striving to be the perfect wife and mom didn't help either. Each morning, I felt more down and defeated when I looked in the mirror, hoping to see a fit, trim, and transformed version of myself....instead, I only saw the same unhealthy, exhausted version of me!
It's no surprise that intimacy with my husband had completely vanished, and I'd caught him staring at younger, more energetic women, despite everything I did for him and our family each and every day!
I mistakenly tried to be perfect for everyone, but when I looked in the mirror, I saw nothing that was perfect about myself!
I was always exhausted, angry, and frumpy. And when my doctor told me that my health was at a VERY critical point, I realized that something needed to change. I couldn't continue being THAT person!
I needed a solution that fit my very hectic schedule. Since I couldn't magically add more hours to my day, I was determined to search the internet for something faster and easier. There just had to be something that would work for me!
Then, one day, I had an epiphany when my personal doctor handed me a note. Words can't begin to describe how happy we all are! Life has changed in so many positive ways for all of us too!
