After several months, I observed that my husband wasn't as attentive as he used to be, and the intimacy between us started to wane due to my physical appearance.
He did attempt to uplift me with positive affirmations, reassuring me that everything was fine.
However, deep down, I knew it wasn't true. I realized it was imperative to try a different approach, or I risked feeling stuck if I didn't make a swift change.
